GL1800 Replacement LED Switchback Bulb

This is an LED replacement switchback turn signal bulb. This is made by SoCalMotoGear and is designed to replace the stock turn signal/running lights in the mirrors. This bulb is sold individually and is designed to replace the bulb that comes in the SCML18SWBF and SCMG18TCK switchback turn signal kits that we sell. If you are planning to replace the bulbs in both turn signals, you will need to order two of these. This bulb operates as an amber turn signal as well as a bright white running light. These will fit all Goldwing GL1800's and F6B's from 2001-2017. If you do not have the flasher (EC08110), you will need a load equalizer (SD01008) to regulate the flash speed of this bulb. L18SWB
Note: These are designed for the US spec bikes that have the mirror lights as running lights. If installing these on Euro spec bikes that do not come with running lights in the mirrors, you will need to run additional power wires for these to function properly.

The bulbs are very easy to install and work as advertised. If you want to have them alternate between white running lights and yellow turn signals you will need clear lenses. I have yellow lenses so I have yellow turn signals and brighter yellow running lights. Also you will need a load balancer or change the turn signal relay to one that supports LED's. I chose to go with a load balancer from Signal Dynamics. It was easier to install.
These Switchback bulbs are PERFECT!! The bulbs are white when the driving lights are on and amber when turn signals are activated. My drive/turn lights have amber lenses, so the drive lights are brighter and when turning, a deep amber color. My husband has them on his trike behind smoke lenses and the change is even more dramatic (see picture). I absolutely love them.
